Are those applets actually loading in the Java 1.6 JVM, or in the Java
1.5 JVM?

...except that I've observed 1.6 applets--specifically the DCO login
applet--loading in Safari. The error--if you check the console--is
failure to load the PC/SC framework, not failure to invoke Java.
