I'm also trying to find out if the OpenSSL used on the Mac was
compiled with the FIPS option. Shawn wasn't sure, so I have open a
ticket with Enterprise AppleCare support. My guess is that it is not :-(

Shawn, sorry if you're getting this for the 3rd time - I was using

Does anyone know when OpenSSL will be updated for Leoaprd? We're up
to date at 10.5.6 and the version of OpenSSL included with the system
is still "OpenSSL 0.9.7l 28 Sep 2006" and all of the ssl dylibs in /
usr/lib appear to be 0.9.7.
There is a JTF-GNO IAVA 2009-A-0023 out that can't fully be complied
with without a patch from Apple.
So, any ideas? I don't have access to 10.5.7 to know what's included
with it, or a real concrete date on when it's coming out (I've been
looking for it today :)
