Has anyone else hit a problem with GSSAPI and Mail 6.2 under the recent MacOS 10.6.3 upgrade ?
After the upgrade, I could not longer POP from a Kerberos 5 GSSAPI server (although I could SMTP out). The "user" presented to the mail server is null and the Mail 6.2 client drops the connection as soon as it is established.
Apparently Thunderbird works fine so it doesn't look like a general GSSAPI problem. Also ktelnet and OpenAFS work so it doesn't appear to be a Kerberos problem.
This killed mail so I had to switch to using CRAM-MD5 instead of Kerberos (for POPping).
Basil
