Remember, though, about Rosetta. Installing it doesn't slow down your
machine. As far as I recall, it only loads if a particular program
calls for it at a particular time. My experience is that it only slows
down the application using it. I don't think you'd see any performance
hit by installing it. At least I haven't. A reboot should ensure it's
not running so long as you haven't launched an app that needs it.

So if i install it on my dual g5 could I just drag that folder to my
MacBook and it would work? I'd be willing to do that. I don't want
Rosetta.
