Not entirely true... when it was .mac, email@hidden was not available... it was taken. The DAY they opened mobile me, I went and registered email@hidden and got it, even though the mac.com address is tied up and cannot be used. I was originally email@hidden but when mpike went available (I got it by chance) I grabbed it. Now the poor guy who had email@hidden doesn't get his email it all gets sent to me. I've communicated with him and made arrangements to get anything to him that he should have, and after a year and half finally got it worked out.

You make it seem like mac.com went away.
It didn't. Both emails work fine as a login.
