Just rereading these recommendations. It would be a joke if it wasn't serious, just like our first online computer security class, the moment you configure the browser to those recommendations you can't take any of the required online training besides breaking the training you are in at the moment.
So when are they going to get their act together, either they stop requiring training that requires java and/or javascript and plugins or they stop making recommendations that breaks access to all the DoD web sites. You can't have all the computer support people reconfiguring all the browsers the day before training starts and then again after training ends for each training class.
