Went great on mine, even my oldie (3G). And I noticed that it did a complete restore as others were concerned about. It wiped the old OS, restored it to factory settings complete with raindrop background as if it were a new Iphone 4, then reinstalled the apps from the backup. I don't know how blind people do it though because I had to check very closely and very quickly while it was going through everything. It was a bit sluggish switching screens at first but now is fine.
