The bug is still in 10.6.4, and the bugreport is still open, owned by the
author of the article, according to his comment.
As another commenter stated: Mac OS X Safari is broken in an IPv6-only
environment.
Also, Stuart Cheshire @ Apple discusses the problems with various solutions
to the DNS problem in this QuickTime video on his home page:

I'm glad we can run dual stacks, but the Google "encouragement" looks like
a bad idea for now.
I've read about Mac OS X problems with DHCPv6 (missing), and self-assigned
addresses versus router-assigned addresses (also missing).
Any problems experienced in those areas?
