Since Office 2011 will start its rollout soon, I
thought I'd share some information with you. While there are some significant
gains and huge advantages bundled into this new release (including the return
of Outlook to the Mac), there are certainly some inconsistencies when compared
to the 2010 Windows version. Here's the Mac Business Unit's own comparison of
their own product to the Windows version:

The good news seems to be that future updates
will resolve some of these problems and add new features (not unlike the
Entourage Web Services update provided new benefits for Office 2008 last year),
but there's no roadmap. Still, things are looking nice, and the reviews
indicate the suite is a great leap forward.
