[Fed-Talk] iPhones / iPads on AIAAPL?

  • Subject: [Fed-Talk] iPhones / iPads on AIAAPL?
  • From: Lee David Rimar <email@hidden>
  • Date: Thu, 7 Oct 2010 10:21:25 -0700

As a sidebar to a discussion of iPhone/iPad use by the Army, someone
remarked: "Products not listed on the Army Information Assurance
Approved Products List are prohibited for use within the Army.
Currently, the only mobile device that has been approved by Army is
the Research in Motion (RIM) Blackberry device."

Is this accurate?
