Hi Jerry,

I'm replying to all, but I'm sure I'll get hammered because ya kind'a cross-posted... :)

Office 2011 supports defaults commands, but I've yet to see any documentation on this. I'd rather not try to reverse engineer things, so waiting to see if Microsoft steps to the plate with the defaults info.

Also, William Smith (on both lists I believe) is the creator of an AppleScript that automagically configures Enotourage 2004/2008 (including leveraging cached AD, KERBEROS, etc., credentials) that we've used in many dozens of environments.

Hoping William's AppleScript can be updated for Outlook 2011...but happy go with defaults if it turns out to be a smarter way to manage Outlook 2011...or a mix of the two. :)

Right now whenever I add a new AD user to a machine, I have to run Office, jump through its "would you like to take a survey" hoops and manually configure it to connect to Exchange, whereas Mail, iCal and Address Book do this "by themselves." Granted it's a relatively straightforward process, but I'd rather not have to deal with it at all.
