[Fed-Talk] Adobe CS5 deployment (FYI and link)

Adobe is finally making things easier for Mac/PC administrators:

	http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html

We've successfully packaged Adobe CS5 Master Collection and Acrobat Pro 9, including suppression of auto-updates, registration, EULA. We pushed to users without needing to be logged in. We've successfully deployed an internal Adobe Update Server and have all Mac/PC workstations pointing to it. We've successfully tested the Adobe Provisioning Tool, where we packaged/push the ENTIRE suite to Mac/PC users and post-push-serialized (brownie points for allowing ALL users to Trial the suite).

Adobe is lucky to have Victoria Swelyn and Jody Rodgers who appear to have put the Adobe train back on track. I only hope Adobe (the company) realizes it takes qualified staff to KEEP the train on the track. Kudos to Victoria and Jody!
:)
