The USB stick option also sounds like it would be a good workaround for
those who never upgraded to Snow Leopard and want to jump directly from
Leopard to Lion.
Except for those of us who would want to update systems in environments whre
USB sticks are banned.
Using the Apple Store's wifi to download Lion reminds me of a few years back
when the rest of my family only had dial-up, and I took my brother's Dell
laptop with Win2k installed to a mall to use their free wifi (the mall's,
not Apple's) to download 80-ish updates via Windows Update.
