I got a 15" yesterday, and I've been moving stuff over to it. The one thing I noticed is that, when the fan kicks off, it's really loud! (6000 RPM). It seems that Mail.app, in particular, can crank up the CPU. Parallels virtualization is amazingly fast (compared to my old Core 2 Duo 2.33 MB Pro.) CPU temperature runs steady at 75c (per iStat Pro), heat sink is 53 c. If anyone else out there has a new laptop, how does this compare to what you see?
I'm still trying to figure out what I'll do with 750gb of storage on the laptop (even my extensive iTunes collection won't make that much of a dent in that drive...)
