Last week I ran an update (OS X v10.6.7 Snow Leopard Font Update) that was supposed to resolve, as you might imagine, some font issues with various OS applications. Since running the update, however, I've had a new issue created in Safari. Specifically, some of the text on several sites displays with a particular display font (i.e. more decorative, not intended for large bodies of text). I've checked and fiddled with the font settings in Safari's preferences with no change in the results. Ultimately it's a minor annoyance, but I can't get a response out of Apple and if there's something I can do to fix it, short of switching back to Firefox, I'd like to do it.
Has anybody else encountered this problem?
