I worked through a problem last night where I could not log into my normal account on my laptop. This account is an OS X Server account, which basically means everything's local on the laptop and duplicated in background with my OS X Server. The console log showed an error within an Apple OS X (Snow Leopard) process, but I realized that I had my CAC Card plugged into the CAC reader. When I pulled the CAC card out of the reader and rebooted, i was able to log on normally
Anyone else seen this? If nothing else and you have a similar configuration where you get an error trying to log in, make sure you don't have a CAC card in the reader...
