We have been working with OpenSSL on getting their software FIPS 140 certified. We are in the final stages with this and hope to have the iOS version approved by a change letter in a few weeks. We also developed a tool you can use to build the OpenSSL fipscontainer.o into your own iOS application, and sign your app so that it will pass the internal FIPS 140 self tests.
I'm happy to say that our PKard Reader application is now available on the App Store. Thursby has been developing this iOS Web Browser along with our own smart card reader. You can use the reader and the app to log into government web sites using a CAC or PIV. The app is a free download, and you can purchase a card reader from our web site for $149. http://www.thursby.com/PKard_Reader.html Another version of our app called PKard Browser supports the baiMobile 3000 reader. This version is only sold B2B. Contact me if you are interested in this.
