Hi fed talk folks,
I was recommended to post this question here for assistance.
I am connecting to a server via https, but it looks like my connection gets downgraded to AES128 because secure renegotiation on the server is disabled due to a bug in ssl.
I used OpenSSL and confirmed that the server can handle AES256 but only if it is requested that way from the start (ie -digest AES256).
How do you tell the NSURLConnection to try AES256?
I have searched the apple developer forums and can handle the secure authentication fine using the NSURLCONNECTION delegate methods but can't find anything on how to force a connection to 256.
Could someone please help me with this?
Respectfully,
Scott
