So after an off-list email and some testing, it looks like the Employee Purchase Program deeplink from the Government Store site has simply been changed, but with a redirect that doesn't work.

I tried the link you have below and that still works – but it is just a top level page.

The previous link to Employee Purchase program, http://www.apple.com/r/store/government/epp.html, which had been a link from inside the page you sent - no longer works. This is what redirects to the new ecommerce site (where AppleID fails, repeatably).

However, when I follow 'your' link to Employee Purchase program (EPP), it now goes to http://store.apple.com/us_epp_55499 and works correctly. So the link I had been using (above) no longer works correctly, but the top level page (that you provided) has a good link to the EPP.

So it now seems like just a bug in the web programming.

The Apple Government Store is gone, replaced by an ecommerce site that requires a login with Apple ID.

At least this time when they moved it they included a redirect.

Sadly, the AppleID authentication procedure still fails as much as it ever did.

It did not recognize the current password, so I had to do a password reset. It accepted the password reset but then did not recognize the new password.
