Thanks for sharing your success story.
Two things that you might find helpful:
1. If you're installing PKard for Mac and you receive the message that
you can't install because the app wasn't signed by a known developer,
you should download PKard for Mac v1.2 again. We had an image available
for a short while that wasn't signed properly.
2. If you're getting an error like that with other installers, you don't
have to change your System Preferences to get the job done. In that
dialog is a help button that explains it -- open the installer by right-
clicking the installer and choosing open, and you'll be prompted with
the ability to override the security for that item.
