I'll help. Since its php it's universal minus obscure OS X paths.
I would never trust anything apple for a server again but all the Ubuntu systems I've created I'll volunteer and even convert the non-standard paths to a useful true server grade OS.
I did convert all OS X to Ubuntu a little over a year ago into Ubuntu. Uptime command reports over 500 days. Doesn't happen with apple. At least anymore.

I have some hand written PHP code on my web server to collect my processed results, and I thought I would basically expand the approach. I'm going to write a small (and *free*) OS X app that will essentially be a wizard that, after entering some basic information, will spit out some code, scripts, and configuration files to help you create an audit aggregation server out of your web server on your Mac web server.
