The most recent Java update from Apple removes the applet plugin from the Java 1.6 distribution on OS X 10.7 and 10.8. As a result, you must download Java 1.7 from Oracle in order to access DTS. This should not concern Java 1.6 on Snow Leopard (and earlier).

Then, because of a few changes in Java 7, you must follow these instructions: http://demo.dbsign.com/osx_java7_fix/

You should only need to do that once, but hopefully that will get you going. If there are any problems, please feel free to contact me directly off the list.
