If you want to get a suggestion or recommendation into this STIG be
advised that the iOS 6 TIM (Technical Implementation Meeting) happens next
Monday:
DISA Field Security Operations (FSO) has developed the Draft Apple iOS 6
STIG Version 1 and will host a TIM for the Draft Apple iOS 6 STIG on 15
November 2012, 0930-1500 EST via DCO. The URL for the DCO session
is:https://connect.dco.dod.mil/timforios6.
And if you're interested in STIG and TIM for Mobile policy in general,
there is another TIM on the same day:
DISA Field Security Operations (FSO) has developed the draft Mobile Policy
SRG, Version 1 and will host a TIM for the Draft Mobile Policy SRG on 5
November 2012, 0930-1500 EST via DCO. The URL for the DCO session is:
https://connect.dco.dod.mil/mobilepolicytim.
Note that both of these happen over DCO - DISA's Defense Connect Online -
and you'll need a DCO account. It is not only long (0930-1500 EST) but is
also very technical, with a lot of back and forth between DISA, the
vendors, and the technical implementors around the globe.
