Empirical evidence suggest there is no time out of the banner. The user must click the Accept button.

Did Mountain Lion finally include a way to change the banner display duration? The default in Lion and previous major releases was always 120 seconds, meaning if you logged in as soon as able you would likely have to re-agree to the banner because of timely domain logins.

My script for creating a login banner has worked since panther with no
changes.

I have not figured out a way to make the login banner bigger so that all
of the get shows at once, but the first several lines show with a scroll
bar.
