Dave, I did an inplace upgrade from mavericks and it was mostly trouble free. The only issue I had was that upon installation of Server 4, the DHCP service was not turned on. I turned it on and realized that it had dropped the first DNS entry (running on the same server) and had reset the DHCP range to 2-250 instead of 100-250 like it had previously been. Otherwise all other services migrated over correct (DNS, OD, Web, Wiki, VPN, AFP/SMB and Time Machine)
