I'm seeing this using 10.12:
Safari can't verify the identity of the website "www.dmdc.osd.mil"
The certificate for this website is invalid. You might be connecting
to a website that is pretending to be "www.dmdc.osd.mil", which could
put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect
to the website anyway?
Chrome presents a similar warning though:
Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from
www.dmdc.osd.mil (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).
NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID
www.dmdc.osd.mil normally uses encryption to protect your information.
When Google Chrome tried to connect to www.dmdc.osd.mil this time, the
website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen
when an attacker is trying to pretend to be www.dmdc.osd.mil, or a
Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information
is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before
any data was exchanged.
You cannot visit www.dmdc.osd.mil right now because the website sent
scrambled credentials that Google Chrome cannot process. Network
errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably
work later.
A server-side issue, perhaps?
