  • Thread-topic: VA VPN with Macs and PIV only enforcement

Hi all,

I have been using a Mac for VPN to Vet Affairs with PIV card.  In Mac OS X El Capitan, the directions of using latest Citrix Receiver, Centrify, and Safari had worked perfectly with my PIV card and my Stanley Global PIV card reader.  It continued to work in the MacOS Sierra public betas, but not in the final release.  The only thing I have been able to get working in Mac OS Sierra final release is going back to open SC 0.16 as middleware, and configure Firefox browser for access.  This does not seem to work consistently however, sometimes I need to log out and log back in to get it working.  I have also re-downloaded all root and other needed certificates and reinstalled them.    It won’t work for me at all using Safari and Centrify does not seem to see my PIV card in macOS Sierra.  Anybody also have success with macOS Sierra and VA VPN with PIV card?  Thanks

Dustin
