[Fed-Talk] Accessing Windows File Shares with CLO

  • Thread-topic: Accessing Windows File Shares with CLO

All,

Does anyone know if there is a way (config or separate app) in High Sierra to
access Windows file shares that have CLO implemented?  Our organization used to
have a NAS that I would access via smb.  Recently they’ve retired the NAS and
set up a Windows File Share and set up CLO to access and eliminate non-admin
logins with username and passwords.  I’m currently using CACkey and it seems to
work for all other sites just fine.  Additionally, I tried setting up an
identity preference with the server path and pointed it to use my CAC identity
cert, hoping that it would kick in the CAC login interface, but no luck.  The
only other way I’ve found to access the file share is to utilize a windows VM
on my box and set up shared folders between the mac and the VM.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

V/R,

-Greg
