Internally you have the winmail.dat - when you send externally to your Office
tenant, the familiar S/MIME attachment is there.

These things seem wrong, or at the very least extremely unfriendly and
non-interoperable! I don't know if thats controllable from UI, though
(in the past when we've dealt with Exchange installations the configuration
for TNEF was "all or nothing").
