Agree Tim – and even knowing that, the user experience is not optimal. I know
there is a standard someplace (I know cop-out language) which says you’re
supposed to prompt on every signing operation and some frequency for
encrypt/decrypt operations. I am sitting here (on my high horse) saying that
favors security over the user experience.
Envision one of your top-level managers, (a VIP) who happen to prefer the Mac
over a PC, continuing to embrace that choice with all those PIN prompts.
I don’t want that sort of unhappy user call.
Appreciate the traffic and sympathy on this topic.

Outlook and (I think) Spotlight index encrypted mail.
