Browsing custom networks and the Find

Hi,

I recently asked on the Macnetworkprog mailing list what I would
need to have a custom network directory listed in the /Network
path. Specifically what I want to be able to do is list SSH shares
discovered by Bonjour, and then delegate the connection to MacFuse.
The answer I got is that achieving this in 10.4.x is not possible
and the only way about it it write my own file browse application.

Does anyone know whether this is likely to be addressed in the near
future (third parties being able to list other shares in /Network)?
Is any useful developer information available in this regards that is
not under NDA?

ANDRE
