- Thread-topic: Determining regular files using Carbon calls?
The d_type field in the dirent struct can be used to
determine if a file is a regular file, directory, symlink, etc. Is there
a way to determine if a file is a regular file using Carbon calls?
Basically, I need a way to ignore socket files, etc. I already have the FSCatalogInfo
and other info, so it would be nice to be able to use that and avoid making
extra BSD calls to check the file type.
Thanks!
