Interestingly, none of that has anything to do with filesystems. Maybe filesystem-dev isn't the right mailing list?


That's rather a lot of info, and I suspect it's unlikely that anyone who knows all the answers* is going to take the time to explain all of those APIs to you. At least not for free — you might be better off paying for a request to Apple DTS.
