Don't do it. It doesn't work properly. Most of the apps can be got to run (after lots of renaming and messing about and using strace to find out what it was doing to things outside the application directory) but for example the adobe updater crashed every time it launched so I could never apply any updates. And yes I had a read-write disk image I installed to which was case-insensitive HFS+ and the main file system was case sensitive HFS+. And there were other unexpected weirdnesses, too. Eventually I reformatted the main file system case insensitive as it was driving me insanse!
