Apple Raid Snapshots

  • Subject: Apple Raid Snapshots
  • From: Patrick Anderson <email@hidden>

Hi all,

Using http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/AppleRAID/AppleRAID-4.0.6/artest.c
I build an AppleRaid 'set' - which I think is the same as a Logical
Volume Group.

Then make a Logical Volume from that set/group, and "take a snapshot"
of that Logical Volume.

This creates the "snap ro" UUID and a "bitmap" UUID Volumes but these
volumes are
not mounted and I cannot see how to do so.

I tried adding the "snap ro" to /etc/fstab, but that did not work.

What is the right way to mount these Volumes so I can view the files there?

Sincerely,
Patrick Anderson
