Ah, that's why I didn't seem them on my test system. I have a VM with a fresh copy of Mountain Lion and Xcode installed that I've made minimal changes to, including not installing the command-line tools.

On my main development system, however, I did install the command line tools. But I already had man pages left over from a previous install, so I couldn't tell they they'd been updated.
