.VolumeIcon.icns needs to exist at the root of the file system and have the custom icon bit set (as in SetFile -a C .VolumeIcon.icns).

Hi all,

I implemented a file system like nfs (it's a file system base on some network storage, but "announce " as a local filesystem.)
when I mounted my disks, I saw a folder named mounted_disks;

It appearance as  a folder, but when I mount it as ifs shared, it shown as a nfs shared folder. I have a icns for the filesystem, but i could not shown on the desktop.

My question is: where to put my icns file and than my mounted_disks will show my icns?

Thanks.

Best regards,
