Customizing installation directory

  • Subject: Customizing installation directory

Hi all,

I'm writing an installer for some Adobe CS2 plug-ins. We would like to customize the default installation directory to match where the user installed the particular CS2 application. Adobe provides a default installation directory of course, but the user may have installed the application in a different directory and we would like our installer to reflect that change.

So my question is how can we change the default installation directory?
Would the InstallerPlugins framework do the trick? If so, where can I find some more documentation on that framework?

Thanks!
Karl Schramm
