Please be sure to file bugs for enhancements to
parts of the installer that could help you with
this, but don't quite make it.
Also, I'd avoid any dependencies on Receipts if
you investigate some of the other suggestions, as
the Receipts directory is an internal
implementation detail of the Installer.app, and
could change in the future.
