What do you get when you run the following in Terminal:
ls -la /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/Resources/runner
and
ls -al /Library/StartupItems

Hi All,
I have package which did work many months. Suddenly, on my computer
It have start produce BomFileError 13: Permission denied - ///Library/StartupItems/VServer_Office
After 2 hours of check everything I giveup, and ask for help.
I use PackageMaker 2.1, OS X 10.4.4 PPC
IF I manually assign owner for /Library/StartupItems to be not system but me,
Then installation going fine.
IT SEEMS to me, problem is that in log below we can see ADMIN AUTH was done.
But in PackageMaker I have specify ROOT AUTH.
So it seems Admin cannot access ROOT folder. Logically?
But then it sounds like a bug somewhere ?
