hdiutil & hiding

I am unable to make a folder hidden on Windows on a hybrid CD. Here is the command I am using to create the disc:

hdiutil makehybrid -o $ISO $DMG -iso -joliet -hfs \
	-hide-hfs EdGCM3.0r5-Win.exe\
	-hide-iso background.jpeg \
	-hide-iso "EdGCM*.app" \
	-hide-joliet background.jpeg \
	-hide-joliet "EdGCM*.app"

What works:
 * The background.jpeg is hidden on Windows (iso,joliet)
 * The .exe file is hidden on Mac (hfs)

What does not work:

The EdGCM*.app, which is really "EdGCM 3.0r5 Installer.app" is not hidden on windows. I'm using the same commands as for background.jpeg which is hidden. The only differences are

 1) This is a folder not a file
 2) The name contains spaces

Does anyone know how to get this folder to remain hidden when a Windows computer is viewing the CD?
