Hi all,
When I run my MetaPackage on my system with Installer Version 2.1.5
(94), my Installer Log shows different errors/warnings than on another
developer’s system. The differences are below.
1) MetaPackage and SubPackages use AdminAuthorization but postflight
script runs sudo command.
- my system: Installer automatically promotes Metapackage from
Admin to RootAuthorization and logs a warning.
I've seen this one (but I don't remember the OS version or platform).
What looks strange is that, AFAIK, a metapackage does not deal with the
authorization but determines which one is required from the packages it
includes. But maybe this has changed with Distribution list.
