Unfortunately there are NO following errors and nothing is output.

Try adding a '-v' to the packagemaker command line.

You can also try executing packagemaker with the full path:
/Developer/Applications/Utilities/PackageMaker.app/Contents/MacOS/PackageMaker

Both of these solutions work around bugs that we're investigating.
