So what are the hard ways of doing this? I was thinking of having a
post-install script run via /usr/bin/install. That way the user gets
a GUI, I get rid of the customize button, and everything gets
installed. Dumb idea?
Barry
There is no easy way to hide the customization in 10.3 and earlier,
but on 10.4 and later, you can use a distribution script, which has
the option of hiding the customization button. Is 10.4 or later an
option? Another option is making a hybrid mpkg which will use a
distribution script on 10.4 and later and your normal mpkg on 10.3
and earlier. With this approach you will be able to hide the
customization button on 10.4 and later.

Another Question--
Is there a way to hide the customize button? I have a meta
package that
includes a font installer and some application files. We would
like to
omit the option for a custom install. Is this possible?
