I have an installer that works great in 10.3 and 10.4 where the Welcome screen text has a clickable hyperlink in it that points to a hidden file on the .dmg. In 10.3 and 10.4 this works great, launching the registration app. In the latest builds of 10.5, life is not so good. It instead opens the folder containing the file and my previously hidden folder is open and naked to the world. Not exactly desirable. Here is a snippet of the text as seen through TextMate:

Any ideas?

1. File a bug report on  Bug Reporter.

2. A potential issue with your link: What does happen on 10.3 and 10.4 if I copy your installer to another volume? Does the link still work?
