Does the default install directory exist on the 10.2 machine?
If I remember correctly, I saw this error on 10.2 when the directory
did not exist - I had to change the install location to one directory
further up, and have the other directory be part of what got installed.
e.g instead of installing foo.app in /Applications/sometimesthere/,
install sometimesthere/foo.app in /Applications/
Hope that helps.

Hi folks,
I have an installer that I built on OS X 10.4.9 (using Iceberg
1.2.2), and it seems to run OK on machines running OS X 10.4 and 10.3.
I don't have a 10.2 machine, but I got my friend to run the
installer and it fails. It doesn't seem to get very far into the
installation process. The failure occurs before any of my script
files, so I don't have any of my own messages in the log file. Here
is the log file:
Foo app Installation Log

_volumeAppeared: Adding volume Macintosh HD
_volumeAppeared: Adding volume Snave75
_volumeAppeared: disabled Snave75 because package can only be
install onto root volume.

Any ideas on what might be happening?
Thanks!
