You can probably find some clues in /var/log/install.log

Hi folks,

Our DVD installer is failing under Leopard. We store most of our files so that they are directly visible in the DVD file system, outside of the mpkg. Many of the files are cross-platform and our DVD includes a Windows installer as well.

We are running the installer with admin priviledges. Our files are typically copied from the DVD to their target directory in PostInstall scripts.

When running the installer on a 10.5 system, all of the pure data files and documentation files (PDF) are copied correctly. However, our applications and plug-in bundles are not copied at all.

Any clues?

Thanks!

- Rick
