Hi All:
One of build machines can no longer create a package from our command
line
scripts.
It's a simple line like:
/Developer/Tools/packagemaker -build -ds -p
"$SOURCE_TRUNK/myapp/mac_installer_packages/plugin.pkg" -f
'/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/myapp.plugin' -i "$SOURCE_TRUNK/
myapp/mac_installer_resources/plugin/info.plist" -d "$SOURCE_TRUNK/
myapp/mac_installer_resources/plugin/Description.plist" -v
When it's run, all I'm getting is:
The package could not be created because of the following errors:
Creating Package Shell
File could not be created:
"/Users/johncebasek/Documents/Vizible/test/myapp/
mac_installer_packages/myap
p.pkg".
If I cd to
/Users/johncebasek/Documents/Vizible/test/myapp/mac_installer_packages
and
do a
Touch myFile
The file's created without any problems.
Is there of coaxing packagemaker into giving a little more info about
the
failure? Any workarounds?
What has changed between the moment it worked and the moment it doesn't?
System Update? DevTools update?
