I notice that PackageMaker 3.0 gives me only ten actions to build a pre- or post-install workflow. Can I build an installer plugin that will add another action to the list? For example, I want my package to archive certain files before it install its payload.

I realise I can do the same with a pre- or post-install script file. But since PackageMaker uses workflow actions, I want to know if I can add my own custom action.
