I started seeing those messages after I installed Xcode 3.1. I thought
perhaps they had to do with the bug mentioned in a few other list
postings where PackageMaker "loses" the destination directory. Anyway,
that bug makes the current version of PackageMaker useless to me so I
went and found the PackageMaker.app from Xcode 3.0 and overwrote the
3.1 version. After that my build started working again. (If you need
to check your PackageMaker versions, the one from Xcode 3.0 is v3.0.1
(172) and the one from Xcode 3.1 is v3.0.2 (174)).
Hope this helps,

As the last build phase in my project I use the packagemaker command

packagemaker --doc installer/zfinstaller.pmdoc -o ~/Desktop/test.pkg
This command worked well some 6 months ago with Xcode 3.0, but now
(using the iPhone SDK / Xcode 3.1 tools) I get a reproducable crash of
the packagemaker tool:

The strange thing is that I can open the zfinstaller.pmdoc document in
PackageMaker.app and build it just fine...
Can anyone suggest a solution based on the cryptic output above?
